My journey, and the story of Geneus Pet, wasn't ignited in a boardroom; it was forged through a personal battle for life.
In my final year of medical school, I was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) with a cancer mutation gene. That near-death experience ignited my passion for 'prevention' and led me to start Geneus DNA. As a cancer survivor, my mission has always been to fight the 'fear of loss,' and our technology has since empowered hundreds of thousands of people by revealing their hidden genetic health risks. But I realized that for so many of us, our family isn't just human. The spark for Geneus Pet was this simple, powerful realization: The fear of loss, and the passion for prevention, is the same for all family members.
Our dogs give us unconditional love, but they cannot tell us about their own silent risks.
This is why Geneus Pet was born. We are here to give them a voice, adapting the same cutting-edge technology and medical-grade standards from our human division to serve our companions.
Our mission extends beyond the pets we test. We believe that every animal deserves a chance to live a healthy, loved life.
That's why Geneus Pet is committed to supporting the local rescue organizations and shelters, providing resources and a portion of our proceeds to help pets in need find their forever homes.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to advancing animal health research. With owner permission, anonymized data from our tests can contribute to studies that help veterinarians and scientists better understand and treat diseases in all dogs for generations to come.
